Terms and Conditions

Description of Consulting

There is a difference between a Life Coach and a consultant. Life Coaches do not give any advice and intend that clients will find all of the answers they need on their own.

I utilize coaching techniques since I am an Advanced Certified Professional Coach but I prefer a blended approach with Confidence Consulting and I do give advice. I have found that providing guidance when clients feel uncertain or stuck is beneficial to their success.

This is a partnership (defined as an alliance, not a legal business partnership) between the consultant and the client to have thought-provoking sessions to assist the client to build confidence.

My Commitment

As your Consultant, I will:

  • Provide you with a non-judgmental environment and a safe space of complete confidentiality.

  • Engage in conversations that will support you to find clarity.

  • Explore and curate actions to bring your goals to reality.

  • Honor that some experiences in life are private, which you may or may not choose to share or explore as part of these consulting sessions.

  • Co-create a collaborative partnership that supports you to deepen self-awareness, enhance creative ability, foster personal mastery, and cultivate your full potential.

  • Agree to maintain the ethics and standards of behavior established by the International Coach Federation “(ICF)” (Coachfederation.org/ethics). It is recommended that the Client review the ICF Code of Ethics and the applicable standards of behavior.

Your Commitment

As my Client, you will:

  • Take full responsibility for your physical, mental, and emotional well-being during our conversations. All consulting topics/issues for discussion are your choice.

  • Follow through and be accountable for the completion of any action planning steps/activities generated as a result of each consulting session (I cannot and will not do it for you).

  • The client is solely responsible for creating and implementing his/her own physical, mental and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions, and results arising out of or resulting from the consulting relationship and his/her consulting calls and interactions with the Consultant. As such, the Client agrees that the Consultant is not and will not be liable or responsible for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of any services provided by the Consulting partnership. The client understands consulting is not therapy and does not substitute for therapy if needed, and does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental disorder or medical disease.

  • Give your consultant permission to keep a confidential record of your name, and contact info in order to meet the requirements for coach credentialing by the International Coaching Federation: ICF: www.coachfederation.org. You agree to allow your consultant/coach to document hours with you for submission to the ICF for certification as a coach.

  • The client further acknowledges that he/she may terminate or discontinue the consulting partnership at any time with written notice. At that point, the consultant will give a refund within 14 days of the written notice for the upcoming consulting sessions that have already been paid for.

  • There are no refunds for past consulting sessions.

  • "Love What You See" there is no refund for this program.

  • The client is intentional about making empowering, conscious choices that truly reflect and support your needs/desires/goals in life and support you to build confidence.

  • The client acknowledges that consulting does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association or Canadian Psychiatric Association and that consulting is not to be used as a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, or other professional advice by legal, medical or other qualified professionals and that it is the Client’s exclusive responsibility to seek such independent professional guidance as needed. If the Client is currently under the care of a mental health professional, it is recommended that the Client promptly inform the mental health care provider of the nature and extent of the consulting/coaching partnership agreed upon by the Client and the Consultant/Coach.

  • The Client understands that in order to enhance the consulting partnership, the Client agrees to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance, and create the time and energy to participate fully in the program.

  • The consultant reserves the right to bill the client for the missed meeting.

  • Failure by the consultant to give 24 hours notice will result in 1 free consulting session.

  • Rescheduling is determined by the client and consultant mutual agreement.

 Termination/ Refund Policy

  • Consultant may terminate this agreement at any time in writing with 1 week's notice to the client.  If and when the consultant terminates the agreement a refund will be paid back to the client in 14 days from the written email.  The client agrees to compensate the Consultant for all consulting services up to the point of termination.
